Google Economy.

I just finished reading Google, history, book published in 2006 and novel tech giant's history. It's exciting to know the origins of what is now a multinational overwhelming, focus on innovation and an entrepreneurial culture that encourages excellence and go beyond, always focused on the end user, a user for the search service is free. But not only is the search, Google Maps, Google Earth, Google News, Google Video, Google Talk, Google Scholar, is Gmail, is a hotbed of new applications that are cooked and cooking in Google Labs and constitute a reference in which can be technological innovation. I read in the last chapters in the interest of Google, in 2006!, To enter the world of genomics, DNA sequences stored in its formidable computing power and provide genes finder .. Google is also Google Products Search .. a search pricing and product immersed in a field that is giving a lot of talk and lives a moment of glory , and where we will meet with imnumerables news in the coming years. And Google is also YouTube. Finally Google's Android operating system much of the mobile and it is said, it is said, he wants to create its own fiber optic network .. Google has taken over as leading edge Microsoft technology, which has overtaken common on many fronts, and begins to have a head to head with Apple in the mobility sector. Of course, it has long surpassed Yahoo! in the proper field of Internet search. But the most interesting of the book is diving into the process of creating the company, its beginnings, its orientation to the academic: indeed Google was born of a doctoral thesis by Sergey Brin and Larry Page. This approach academic, researcher, which makes the facilities of Google (Googleplex as they are known around the world) is more like a college campus than a conventional business suit and tie. Spacious meeting areas, lounge chairs colors for impromptu chats, free food for employees, the famous lava lamps ... By the way, the colors of the letters in the main Google page comes from the Lego pieces with which they built A prototype of the original server browser. Clone computers assembled themselves to save costs in the early days, in which no one thought seriously by the Internet search. That is the key to its success: while others believed that people were going to surf the Internet through portals (in which companies would fight to be present in the best positions) they pushed for the user Independiencia when to seek, in origin, which he liked. Cleaning your home screen is inspired by this approach and its clear academic and researcher bias. It is clarifying the initial rejection of Brin and Page to all types of invasive advertising. Google spends nothing on advertising. It's unbelievable, but true. The product is so good that not need marketing to promote it. Everything is word of mouth and based on the superiority of its software and hardware. This, along with everything else, make Google is one of the pillars of a new economy, an economy that some call Google Economy, and beyond the call of the New Economy that has been talked about for 20 years . It would be a revolution within the revolution. In this Economy Google would also be part Facebook and social networks in general. But what distinguishes this from other precedents Economy?. The economic networking, collaborative, between people, and between people and companies that do not exist in the "real world" condensed into a particular site. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn .. Globalization represents as no good, the second phase of the current globalization, which allows worldwide by Silicon Valley where you can give the collaboration and creation of synergy between people and people and people and companies that are the breeding ground for the future phase of capitalism, a place where the competition and collaboration. The book also I prefer the character of the founders and in general with the company's corporate culture, which show that Google is not a conventional company of the old economy, the Ancient Regime, or even start the New Economy, which reproduced in Internet domains monopolies and large corporations but leaving the citizen as a passive actor, as in the real world. So Google allows economics to advance the quality of democracy, relocating to the person of its physical environment when looking for information, compare prices, buy, avoiding being subjected to the despotic domains inherited from the Old Economy, strongly supported States and a financial sector that historically has paid the money to people who have money. Social networks, information retrieval personalized empresariles collective financing of projects (crowdfunding), mass access to culture ... are the foundations of this economy that is growing every day and trying to complement the Old Economy legacy of centuries of capitalism offline civil society, supported by democratic regimes character leap and civil societies heavily influenced by marketing and mass media. The current economic crisis is also political because that capitalism was based on trust to be had in controlling the masses by governments and media, regardless of economic policies undertaken by the financial sector, the great power in this world. The Google Economy is the revolt of the masses, awareness and ownership of the need to move beyond democracy as a way of governing. So far in the Ancient Regime of the past era, the choice options were imposed from above, forming a world cuasimaniqueo favoring the economic and social control by monopolies, state and centralized financial system. The individual was culturally from above: the lamb. Now the individual is able to withstand the blast of information from interested churches and state bank which is distilled mana, issuing in the party favor. The individual, at the beginning of the internet age, I wanted to put the halter and the muzzle of the big portals as access to the network of networks. However, the model won the free Google search, a symbol of the struggle for the liberation of the individual. What we are experiencing now is the equivalent of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the socialist bloc. What is collapsing is now part of the centrally planned economy from central nodes based on which up to now call capitalism. The Google Economy refounding capitalism is giving greater prominence to the unique individual that is associated in minorities, these minorities into majorities partnering sharing a manageable corpus. This is how it should form the majority down-Aliba, no side-side-down or Aliba , individual-minority silent -most (if any). Moreover, the economic system tends to be governed by minorities, no one in particular, but all in a constant dynamic in contrast to the political and financial system, anchored in the past and his belief in the control means mass, ignorance and sheep production.
